How to Specify Technical Seating

Summary

BioFit offers an accredited course designed to educate audiences on technical seating for workspaces such as clean rooms and electrostatic dissipative environments. It features an overview of clean room and ESD standards and details how seating construction, materials and techniques can positively impact performance, productivity, safety and worker wellbeing in specialized facilities as well as the integrity of the products manufactured, or research conducted therein.

  • A brief history of clean rooms and static-control measures
  • Specialized fields and disciplines reliant on technical seating
  • How technical seating differs from that used in other workplaces

Accreditation

This CEU is registered with the Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC) for continuing education credits. This credit will be accepted by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), International Interior Designers Association (IIDA) and Interior Designers of Canada (IDC). The content included is not deemed or construed to be an approval or endorsement by IDCEC of any material or construction or any method or manner of handling, using, distributing or dealing in any material or product. This program is registered for one CEU value. Credit for Completion: Attendance will be reported to IDCEC by the instructor upon completion of this CEU. For IDCEC members, please be sure to provide your IDCEC number to the instructor. IDCEC members may also obtain a transcript of their CEU activity through their account dashboard. Attendees who do not belong to ASID, IIDA or IDC and do not have a unique IDCEC number will be provided with a Certificate of Completion after this CEU.
