After a brief overview of clean room and ESD history and standards, you will learn how seating construction materials and techniques can have positive impact on user performance and on the integrity of products made and research conducted in these facilities. 

  • Determine the correct seating options for various workplaces
  • Understand clean room ISO standards and seating requirements
  • ISO, ESD, ISO + ESD - making sense of the client's technical requirements
  • Contaminant control, air filtration, gas discharge prevention and other key elements of seating construction for ISO environments
  • What to look for in static-control seating - key seating construction details to ensure proper electrical conductivity and grounding
  • Translating technical requirements into seating selection and specifications

Your Facilitator

Sessions will be facilitated by Daryl Hensley, BioFit Regional Sales Manager and Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist. Daryl is a 30-year veteran of the commercial seating industry, serving in sales and leadership roles for BioFit Engineered Products and other globally recognized manufacturers.

He is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist and has performed thousands of assessments for Fortune 500 companies, government agencies and end users. Daryl has an extensive background in outfitting ESD, cleanroom, laboratory and office environments with ergonomic seating and accessories. Over the course of his career, he has educated countless dealers, architects and other professionals on the importance of ergonomics on employee comfort and productivity.
